Christian Reed of O'Fallon, Mo., who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice at Southeast Missouri State University, is interning this summer with Homeland Security Investigations in Tampa, Fla.

Dr. Christopher Robertson earned an undergraduate degree in philosophy while at Southeast Missouri State University. He went on to earn a doctorate in philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis and a law degree from Harvard Law School. His intentions were always to teach law, however, he practiced for one year before accepting a fellowship at Harvard that helped prepare him for the academic world of teaching.

Amanda Hanson of Ballwin, Mo., who is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting at Southeast Missouri State University, will intern with KPMG in summer 2014 after she participated in the firm's Discover Program for accounting students.

Dallas Pennock of Washington, Mo., who is pursuing his bachelor's degree in recreation from Southeast Missouri State University, is completing an internship with the City of Washington Parks and Recreation Department in Washington, Mo.

Katherine Miller of Ballwin, Mo., who is pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art with an emphasis in printmaking from Southeast Missouri State University, competed in a printmaking competition hosted by the National Society of Arts and Letters. She won first place in the regional competition, receiving $2,000 and an all-expenses paid trip to the national competition in Pittsburgh.

Alandra St. Clair of St. Louis, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in psychology, will spend the upcoming fall semester interning with Disney at its amusement park, Disney World, in Orlando, Fla.

Stephanie Kolisch of Arnold, Mo., who is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree with a major of mass communication and an emphasis in public relations, is interning at St. Louis Children's Hospital this summer.

Maggie Jasper of St. Charles, Mo., who is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University, spent a week of her summer working as a counselor for the Muscular Dystrophy Association camp.

Southeast business student Alexis Boldin of Maryland Heights, Mo., recently participated in a study abroad trip to Schmalkalden, Germany, combining the International Summer School and the Intercultural Management in Germany, known as the IMAGE program.

Cybersecurity major Jeremy Wiedner of Imperial, Mo., is interning as an information security co-op at Emerson in St. Louis this summer.

Frances Johnson of Charleston, S.C., who is pursuing her Master of Science with a major in Organizational Management from Southeast Missouri State University, completed a two-week intensive program in the International Summer School in Schmalkalden, Germany, while earning three hours of college credit.
