Southeast Missouri State University alumna Twila Mason of Bloomfield, Missouri, will be starting her own part-time crafting business, Twila's Crafty Cat Studio.

Clayton Evans, a Southeast Missouri State University student from Fenton, Missouri, has been awarded a Missouri Concrete Association (MCA) scholarship for the spring 2015 semester.

Southeast Missouri State University alumna Eliza Grove of Dix, Illinois, works as a consultant with Lighting Science Group in Satellite Beach, Florida. Her clients include the Los Angeles Dodgers and the U.S. Olympic team as it traveled to Sochi for the Winter Olympics.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

He has found a challenging yet fulfilling job as a law enforcement agent protecting wildlife and other natural resources as a conservation agent with the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC).

After studying major public relations figures and agencies in his mass communications courses, Southeast Missouri State University senior Angelo Jones of St. Louis, took a leap of faith and moved to New York for the summer where he interned with Ketchum, one of the very agencies he learned about.

When alumna Carol Backman of Cape Girardeau learned about the U.S. embassies overseas in high school and went home talking to her mother about it, she assumed it would not go anywhere. However, once she graduated from Southeast Missouri State University, her mother, who had made a mental note of the conversation, gave her a job application for a position with the U.S. Department of State.

Southeast Missouri State University alumna Kelley Oswald of Ballwin, Mo., has two passions: dance and nutrition. Last season, Kelley expressed her passion as a dancer for the St. Louis Ambush Indoor Soccer team's dance team while advancing her education by studying nutrition at Saint Louis University.
