Virginia Matzes of California, MO, was among 553 undergraduate students receiving degrees following fall 2013 commencement exercises Dec. 21 at Southeast Missouri State University.

Matzes graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in chemistry: DNA analysis option and a Bachelor of Science with a major in chemistry: forensic chemistry option.
