Tayla Meyr Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Tayla Meyr of Altenburg, MO, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Meyr is a sophomore pursuing a degree in health management with an option in exercise science. Her career aspiration is to become a pediatric physical therapist. Meyr is the daughter of Bradley and Paula Meyr of Altenburg, Missouri, and is a 2016 graduate of Saxony Lutheran High School.
