Southeast Student Kayla Kammermeyer Graduates Emerging Leaders

Kayla Kammermeyer of St. Louis, Mo., has completed the Emerging Leaders Program at Southeast Missouri State University.]

Kammermeyer is the daughter of Theresa Kammermeyer of St. Louis and the late Clifford Kammermeyer. She was a 2012 graduate of Francis Howell Central High School in St. Charles, Mo. Kammermeyer is a freshman at Southeast, double majoring in international business and Spanish and minoring in marketing management. She is a member of the Residence Hall Association, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and National Residence Hall Honorary, and is past member First-Year Leadership.

Emerging Leaders is a spring semester, University-sponsored student leadership program designed to further the development of the University's future leaders by refining their current leadership abilities and instilling in them a commitment to the campus and community. The program is open to first-year and second-year students interested in developing their leadership skills and connecting with other students. Topics such as communication, diversity, time management and professionalism are covered through fun, creative activities and personal exploration.
