Southeast Student Justin Pratt Graduates Emerging Leaders

Justin Pratt of Mascoutah, Ill., has completed the Emerging Leaders Program at Southeast Missouri State University.]

Pratt is the son of Darrell Pratt of Marissa, Ill., and Sharon Pratt of Mascoutah. He was a 2010 graduate of Mascoutah Community High School in Mascoutah. Pratt is a junior at Southeast majoring in chemistry. He is the president of Alpha Chi Sigma professional fraternity, chair of Emerging Leaders, representative to the Center for Strategic and International Studies and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. He is past chair of Outreach and past member of the Chemistry Club.

Emerging Leaders is a spring semester, University-sponsored student leadership program designed to further the development of the University's future leaders by refining their current leadership abilities and instilling in them a commitment to the campus and community. The program is open to first-year and second-year students interested in developing their leadership skills and connecting with other students. Topics such as communication, diversity, time management and professionalism are covered through fun, creative activities and personal exploration.
