Southeast Student Daniel Hedgcoth Graduates Emerging Leaders

Daniel Hedgcoth of Fredericktown, Mo., has completed the Emerging Leaders Program at Southeast Missouri State University.]

Hedgcoth is the son of Daniel and Candis Hedgcoth of Fredericktown. He was a 2011 graduate of Fredericktown High School in Fredericktown. Hedgcoth is a sophomore at Southeast, double majoring in German and anthropology.

Emerging Leaders is a spring semester, University-sponsored student leadership program designed to further the development of the University's future leaders by refining their current leadership abilities and instilling in them a commitment to the campus and community. The program is open to first-year and second-year students interested in developing their leadership skills and connecting with other students. Topics such as communication, diversity, time management and professionalism are covered through fun, creative activities and personal exploration.
