Sharon Berry Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Sharon Berry of Cape Girardeau, Mo., has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Berry was a 1982 graduate of Berkeley High School in Berkeley, Mo., and a 1984 graduate of Florissant Valley Community College in Florissant, Mo. She is currently a junior majoring in social work at Southeast. Berry was a CSIS attendee and is a McNair Scholar.

Berry is married to William Bell and has two daughters, Carmen and Ayana. She is the daughter of Leslie Berry of St. Louis, Mo., and the late Eva Copeland.
