Raphael Pellenard Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Raphael Pellenard of Marseille, France, has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Pellenard is the president of the Men’s Soccer Club, the president of the International Student Association and a resident assistant. He is the recipient of the following scholarships: Walter L. Crawford Memorial Scholarship, Aleen Vogel Wehking Scholarship, Jane Cooper Stacy International Student Scholarship and the James Harold Paullus Biology Scholarship. He is also an International Student Scholar. He is the son of Moreaux Sylvie of Marseille, France.
