Rachel Fox Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Rachel Fox of Nashville, TN, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Fox is a junior pursuing a degree in political science and a minor in global studies. Her career aspirations are to become a United States diplomat and represent American interests and policies overseas. She is a first year resident assistant, and a member of Redhawk Rising, Campus Outreach student ministry and Southeast's International Student Association. She is a 2017-2018 recipient of the Power of Women Scholarship Award. Fox is the daughter of Coleen Fox of Nashville, Tennessee, and is a 2015 graduate of Romeoville High School.
