Parker Butler Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Parker Butler of East Prairie, Missouri, has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Butler is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and serves as the vice president of public relations for the Interfraternity Council. He is also a Student Government Association senator for the College of Liberal Arts. He is the son of Kim and Floyd Butler of East Prairie, Missouri.
