Nikolas Weber Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Nikolas Weber of Belleville, Ill., has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Weber was a 2011 graduate of Belleville East High School in Belleville and is currently a junior at Southeast majoring in secondary education - English. With his degree, Weber would like to teach high school English. He is a member of the College Republicans, Campus Outreach Ministry and Student Alumni Association. Weber is President of Sigma Chi Fraternity, a National Residence hall Honorary, a Resident Assistant, and captain of club baseball. He has received Sigma Chi's Sophomore of the Year Award, SEMO Greek's Greed God Award, Man of the Year for the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and National Residence Hall Honorary's Significant Leadership Award.

Weber is the son of Jeff and Sandra Weber of Belleville.
