Melissa Thomason Awarded Scholarship to Attend Southeast

Melissa Thomason of Carbondale, Ill., has received the Midwest Achievement Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Thomason is the daughter of Daniel Stewart, Sr., and Judy Thomason of Carbondale. She will be a 2013 graduate of Carterville High School in Carterville, Ill.
