Marsha Walls Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Marsha Walls of St. Louis, Mo., has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Walls was a 2012 graduate of Gateway I.T. High School in St. Louis and is currently a sophomore at Southeast majoring in middle school education. With her degree, Walls hopes to become a middle school communication arts teacher. Walls received the Robert and Wilma Foster Scholarship to attend Southeast. She was named the 2012 Youth of the Year for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis.
