Luke LeGrand Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Luke LeGrand of Cape Girardeau, MO, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

LeGrand is a sophomore pursuing degrees in accounting and economics and a minor in Spanish. His career aspiration is to work in the aviation industry. He is a member of Southeast's Interfraternity Council Judicial Board and Delta Phi Zeta Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha; and is a student employee in the President's Office. LeGrand is the son of Randy and Nancy LeGrand of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and is a 2015 graduate of Saxony Lutheran High School.
