Lauren Potje Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Lauren Potje of Shiloh, Illinois, has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Potje is a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma sorority, President’s Leadership Academy, the Jane Stephens Honors Program and serves on the All-University Judicial Board and the Newman Council. She is also the recipient of the Jack Buck Scholar Leadership Award. She is the daughter of Susan and James Potje of Shiloh, Illinois.
