Kevin Downs Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Kevin Downs of Cedar Hill, Mo., has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Downs was a 2011 graduate of Northwest High School in Cedar Hill. He is currently a sophomore majoring in exercise science and minoring in nutrition at Southeast.

Downs is the son of Jim Downs of Cedar Hill.
