Kacie Hampton Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Kacie Hampton of Marble Hill, MO, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Hampton is a sophomore pursuing a degree in exceptional child education. She is a member of the Jane Stephens Honors Program and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. Her career aspirations include teaching in her own classroom at an elementary school and working with children who have learning and/or intellectual disabilities. Eventually, she would like to get a master's degree in communication disorders or school administration. Hampton is the daughter of Chris and Aimee Hampton of Marble Hill, Missouri, and is a 2014 graduate of Leopold High School.
