Kacie Hampton Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Kacie Hampton of Marble Hill, MO, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Hampton is a junior pursing a degree in exceptional child education. Her career aspiration is to become a special education classroom teacher. She is a member of Southeast's Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and the Student Missouri State Teachers Association, and is a student employee in the President's Office and Human Resources department. She is a recipient of Southeast's University Scholarship, Stan and Debbie Crader Scholarship, Access Missouri Grant, John and Lillian Allen Scholarship, and James M. Drickey Elementary Education Scholarship. Hampton is the daughter of Chris and Aimee Hampton of Marble Hill, Missouri, and is a 2014 graduate of Leopold R-III High School.
