Jeremy Ferkel, of Imperial, MO, was among students receiving degrees during spring commencement exercises May 12 held at Southeast Missouri State University.

Ferkel graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a major in psychology .

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon presented the commencement address.
