Jarrid Snyder Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Jarrid Snyder of Fenton, Mo., has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Snyder was a 2012 graduate of Northwest High School in Cedar Hill, Mo., and is currently a sophomore at Southeast majoring in social studies. With his degree, Snyder hopes to teach at Northwest High School. Snyder is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, Model U.N. and serves on the Dining Services Committee. He has received the Jack Buch Scholar-Leadership Award.

Snyder is the son of Keith Snyder of Fenton and the late Vicki Stoops.
