Jade Frey Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Jade Frey of Decatur, IL, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Frey is a junior pursuing a degree in accounting and a minor in finance. Her career aspirations are to one day work as a certified public accountant. She is a member of Southeast's chapter of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society; Mu XI Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi International Honor Organization for Financial Information Students and Professionals; Delta Nu Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi sorority; and Club Volleyball. She is a recipient of Southeast's University Scholarship, Midwest Achievement Award and the William and Evelyn Volentz Scholarship. Frey is the daughter of Ron and Susan Frey, and is a 2015 graduate of Mt. Zion High School.
