Dylan Strackeljahn Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Dylan Strackeljahn of St. Louis, MO, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Strackeljahn is a senior pursuing a degree in political science and a minor in marketing. His career aspirations are to become a state representative, senator or federal judge. Strackeljahn is the son of John Strackeljahn of East Carondelet, Illinois and Marla Nenninger of St. Louis, Missouri, and is a 2012 graduate of Oakville High School.
