David Blevins Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

David Blevins of Bernie, Mo., has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Blevins was a 2009 graduate of Bernie High School in Bernie. He is currently a senior majoring in agribusiness at Southeast. Blevins is a member of the Missouri Collegiate Farm Bureau.

Blevins is the son of David and Wanda Blevins of Bernie.
