ChathuraWickreme Seneviratne Selected for Omicron Delta Kappa at Southeast

ChathuraWickreme Seneviratne of Cape Girardeau, MO, has been selected as a new member of Omicron Delta Kappa at Southeast Missouri State University.

Wickreme Seneviratne is majoring in Engineering Technology: Electrical and Control option at Southeast.

Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), the National Leadership Honor Society, is designed to recognize those students who have attained a high standard of efficiency in collegiate activities and to inspire others to strive for attainments along similar lines. Membership in ODK is a mark of highest distinction and honor. Emphasis is placed on the development of the whole person, both as a member of the college community and as a contributor to a better society. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or higher and have completed 60 or more credit hours to be considered for selection. Members are selected on the following principles:

• scholarship,
• journalism, publications, speech and the mass media,
• campus or community service, leadership and campus life,
• creative and performing arts, and
• athletics.
