Brooke Baugher Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Brooke Baugher of Cape Girardeau, Mo., has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Baugher was a 2012 graduate of Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau and is currently a sophomore at Southeast majoring in wildlife conservation and minoring in zoology. With her degree, Baugher hopes to work with animals at a zoo or wildlife park. Baugher is a member of Gamma Phi Beta and the Student Medical Society. She received the Regents' Scholarship and Bright Flight to attend Southeast.

Baugher is the daughter of Shelly Smith of Cape Girardeau.
