Brendan Scholl Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Brendan Scholl of Jackson, MO, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Scholl is a junior pursuing a degree in corporate communication and minors in environmental science, geoscience, geographic information systems, management, and integrated marketing communications. His career aspirations are to attend graduate school and become a communications director for the Environmental Protection Agency or similar not-for-profit agency. He serves as vice president for Southeast's Environmental Science Association, and director of communications and outreach for Southeast's National Residence Hall Honorary. He is also a member of Southeast's Kappa Delta chapter of Lambda Pi Eta National Communication Association and Southeast's chapter of Sigma Alpha Pi, National Society of Leadership and Success. Scholl is the son of Terry and Kara Scholl of Jackson, Missouri, and is a 2015 graduate of Notre Dame High School.
