BrandonTappmeyer Selected for Omicron Delta Kappa at Southeast

BrandonTappmeyer of O'Fallon, MO, has been selected as a new member of Omicron Delta Kappa at Southeast Missouri State University.

Tappmeyer is majoring in Wildlife Conservation at Southeast.

Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), the National Leadership Honor Society, is designed to recognize those students who have attained a high standard of efficiency in collegiate activities and to inspire others to strive for attainments along similar lines. Membership in ODK is a mark of highest distinction and honor. Emphasis is placed on the development of the whole person, both as a member of the college community and as a contributor to a better society. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or higher and have completed 60 or more credit hours to be considered for selection. Members are selected on the following principles:

  • scholarship,
  • journalism, publications, speech and the mass media,
  • campus or community service, leadership and campus life,
  • creative and performing arts, and
  • athletics.
