Bhanu Sehgal Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Bhanu Sehgal of New Delhi, India, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Sehgal is a junior pursuing degrees in accounting and finance. Sehgal serves as the university affairs committee chairperson for Southeast's Student Government; is a resident assistant; and is a member of Southeast's Jane Stephens Honors Program. He previously served as a facilitator for Southeast's First-Year Leadership Program and participated in the President's Leadership Academy. Sehgal is the son of Sanjay and Rashmi Sehgal of New Delhi, India, and is a 2014 graduate of St. Gregorious School.
