Annise Wassman Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Annise Wassman of St. Louis, Mo., has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Wassman was a 2010 graduate of Cor Jesu Academy in St. Louis. She is currently a junior majoring in psychology and minoring in criminology at Southeast. Wassman is a member of Psi Chi psychology honor society, resident assistant, participant of the Jane Stephen's Honor Program, student worker in communication studies, participant of the Presidential Leadership Academy, graduate of Emerging Leaders and secretary of COMMrades.

Wassman is the daughter of Rick and Marita Wassman of St. Louis.
