Anika Hasija Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Anika Hasija of Cape Girardeau, MO, has been appointed by Dr. Carlos Vargas, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.
Hasija is a sophomore pursing a degree in mathematics with an option in actuarial science. She is a member of Southeast's Jane Stephens Honors Program, the Alpha Psi Chapter of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, the University's chapter of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, Residential Hall Association, and is a graduate of Southeast's Frist Year Leadership Program. Hasija is the daughter of Ajay and Rajni Hasija.
