Andrew Schneider Appointed as Presidential Ambassador at Southeast Missouri State University

Andrew Schneider of Florissant, Mo., has been appointed by Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, to serve as a Presidential Ambassador at the University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Presidential Ambassadors are student representatives of the president of the University. The Ambassadors assist the president and his staff in greeting and assisting visiting guests and dignitaries, serving at presidential functions and promoting good will to all those outside the University.

Schneider was a 2010 graduate of Hazelwood West High School in Hazelwood, Mo. He is currently a junior majoring in engineering physics: mechanical applications and physics and minoring in mathematics at Southeast. Schneider is service chairman and scholarship chairman of Sigma Nu fraternity, an Eagle Scout, a member of the Physics and Engineering Club and a member of the Jane Stephens Honor Society.

Schneider is the son of Jim and Judy Schneider of Florissant.
