Alyssa Carter Awarded Scholarship to Attend Southeast

Alyssa Carter of Aviston, Ill., has received the University Scholarship and Midwest Achievement Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Carter is the daughter of Trent Carter of Centralia, Ill., and Sherry and Mark Dierkes of Aviston. She will be a 2013 graduate of Central Community High School in Breese, Ill.
